Ultra Clear Medium Aluminosilicate Electronic Float Glass(CHIYAN-M2) is an eco-friendly ultra clear alumino-silicate glass with certain strength.

What is float glass?
It is prepared with sea sand, quartz sandstone powder, soda ash, dolomite and other raw materials. After melting at high temperature by melting kiln, the glass liquid flows continuously from the pool kiln to the metal liquid surface and floats on it, spreading into a glass belt with uniform thickness and polishing by fire. After cooling and hardening, the transparent and colorless flat glass is cut by annealing.
The forming process of float production is done in a tin tank with a protective gas. Float glass is widely used, divided into colored glass, float silver mirror, float glass/automobile windshield grade, float glass/all kinds of deep processing grade, float glass/scanner grade, float glass/coating grade, float glass/mirror grade. Among them, ultra-white float glass has a wide range of uses and broad market prospects, mainly used in high-grade architecture, high-grade glass processing and solar photovoltaic curtain wall fields, as well as high-grade glass furniture, decorative glass, imitation crystal products, lighting glass, precision electronics industry, special buildings, etc.

Ultra Clear Medium Aluminosilicate Glass achieves better stress and strain depth than ordinary soda-lime glass by increasing the Al₂O₃ content in the glass and increasing the ion exchange capacity.

Storage conditions: Temperature ≤30℃, humidity ≤65% (no condensation), shelf life is 6 months from the date of delivery.
Float glass is made by heating raw materials—silica sand, limestone, soda ash, and magnesium in a furnace. When melted, it’s then spread out over a sizable bed of molten tin. As it moves along rollers in the annealing oven during a controlled cooling process, this mixture slowly solidifies over the molten tin. From this point, a single, continuous smooth ribbon of glass emerges as below picture showed:
